On Friday 16th June the Shenstone students took part in the Save the Children Den Day! The children were split up into groups of all ages and the older children had a great opportunity to help the younger ones learn some new skills. The Forest Schools team hid a range of care packages in the woods which contained tools and special skills that the children could put to good use. The children only had one hour to build a waterproof Den for their team before it rained – and oh, how it rained! Riley said “My favourite part was when it rained”, Joshua said “It was really good to make a den!”
