Strongest Student Competition
The Brades Lodge held the first annual ‘ Strongest Student’ contest which was attended by four schools from around the country. There were seven events in two competitions for Key Stages 3 and 4 which compromised of:

Deadlift
Yolk

Brades Basketball
The Brades Lodge Lions recently had their second fixture against Sandwell Community School. The game was very competitive and played in an excellent spirit but SCS came out winners in the 4th quarter 28-20. An excellent display by all involved and well done The Lions.

Skills Show

SEN League Result
The Brades Lodge football team kicked off the SEN League with a 13- 2 win against Chorley from Coventry. A very good start from our boys and we will compete again away at Elmwood on 25th November.

Brades Gym
As a result of the Extended Schools funding we have been able to equip ourselves with a fully functioning gym to use for afterschool and dinner time clubs. This has been a real hit with the students so far!!

We Survived the Tunnel!!
As part of the Outdoor Education curriculum the Key Stage 3 students were tasked with riding through the Netherton Tunnel. The tunnel is 2,768 m long and is pitch black. This is a real challenge and the students responded excellently.

Midlands Football League
The Brades Lodge played in Wolverhampton against Woodlands Sports College in The Midland League. This was the first time we had played against this school with the lads performing really well, and the game was undertaken in very good spirits although we lost 2-0.
