Unicorn Class Cook up a Storm for Chinese New Year !

During R.E. lessons Unicorn Class learnt that Chinese New Year has been celebrated for thousands of Years have been celebrated for thousands of years.  The holiday has been celebrated for thousands of years. The holiday, which focuses on home and family Chinese New Year has been celebrated for thousands of years. The holiday, which focuses on home and family, was the most important festival on the ancient Chinese calendar. Chinese New Year celebrates the beginning of a new lunar year. Traditional activities include exchanging red envelopes containing money, holding parades with Chinese Dancing Dragons, setting off fireworks, and cleaning the house.  Unicorn Class decided to celebrate by cooking a Shenstone Lodge Feast!

During R.E. lessons Unicorn Class have been improving their culinary skills and provided dessert for a class celebration. Together they chose a dish of banana spring rolls served with chocolate sauce! Mmmm Yummmy!
