Residential SMSC week

19 May 2017

Hi all, it’s again been another exciting and fun packed month in residence with the staff and children visiting some new and wonderful places. This month as part of SMSC week we visited the National War Memorial, were the children could see and understand, some of the great work our countries public service men and woman have done to keep us safe over the years. This visit tied in nicely with the May-Day celebrations, as the children were able to pay their own fitting tribute to our fallen heroes.

RSPCA week was also a very fun-filled and exciting time in residence this Month, with the teams very own ‘Dr Doo Little’ Emma Yardley arranging, Cake Sales, Charity Dog Walks and even a visit by the legendary Animal man… Who was in fact a lady…. It was safe to say the children had a Wild time….. In residence we visited Janes Farm to feed her lambs, which we all enjoyed, even though some of us got soaked… (“Thank you Jane”) And our Charity Dig Walk around Sutton Parked helped contribute massively to the £102 raised by the school towards such a great cause.

The Shenstone Dog Walking Team at your service!!!
