Football Update

24 May 2016

It has been a very successful half term for the football team. In the Midland League we played a school from Coventry called Chorley and managed a 6-2 win. DJ scored a hat-trick but the standout goal was from Lewis who was in goal at the time. It was a game that required a lot of resilience from the lads as the opposition had a very long throw that was used at every opportunity. Overall a very good team performance, well done.

In a non-league fixture we took on a team of Key Stage 3 students from Options school, Shifnal. Our team consisted of a number of students who had never represented the school before and they were an absolute credit to themselves and the school. We managed a very tight 3-2 win.
